Nick recently arranged our first joint mortgage, and first of all he had to address the fact that we are both self-employed, with variable incomes - this posed no problem at all. Nick Edge was recommended to me by my Financial Adviser. As director of my own company in a difficult market I already had experience of how much more comlpex it now is to get a mortgage today. However Nick very quickly assessed the best deals available for my circumstances and talked me through the process in some detail, explaining how the mortgage market now works, the potential pitfalls and how to best prepare the application. To this end having selected a product he then spoke to an adviser at the company in order to be quite clear on what they would be looking for in terms of company accounts, capital and financial planning, pre-empting many of the queries that might have come to light later on. As a result of this and Nick's attention to detail in preparing the application I soon received a mortgage offer on the property I was living in and have since used Nick's services to get the mortgage on the new property I've moved to.
